Location
eco indigo accommodation is based just outside Spott, East Lothian, in a beautiful countryside location with stunning views over Bass Rock, North Berwick Law, and Dunbar.
Getting to us is easy, we are only 10 minutes from Dunbar, and 30 minutes from Edinburgh, Berwick-Upon-Tweed and Gullane, making us ideally situated for local sandy beaches, golf and golf tournaments, surfing, hillwalking, bird watching, waterpark adventures at Foxlake, Castles, the Edinburgh Festival and Fringe, music and sporting events or concerts at Murrayfield Stadium.
Please do note that the farm track to the property is used by farm vehicles and is uneven. Most two wheel drive vehicles driven carefully and slowly will have no problem at all. The track adds to the seclusion and charm of the location but is not suitable for vehicles with very low suspension.
Although we are a countryside location, East Lothian has some of the loveliest beaches in Scotland with some remarkable geology thrown in. At eco indigo you are only 10 minutes from the nearest beach!
Our smallholding
We are a working farm with chickens, sheep, ducks and geese. Clemency is an experienced beekeeper and there is an apiary on the smallholding. We sell seasonal produce from our smallholding including eggs, meat, honey, fruit and vegetables.
